The comedy club was great, the comedians were very funny and there was a good mix of men and women, probably more women than men which was good for a stag party. The staff were fantastic, friendly and very professional. My only criticism would be regarding payment. One of our group couldn't drive yet I still paid £50. I am out of pocket now which I feel is unjustified. There were 14 teams of at least 3-4 per team. There is no need to charge for a non show when there are these many numbers. The cocktail making was excellent and they even provided a wheat free pizza for the bride as she is allergic to wheat!! Fantastic food at the meal and the music at the 80's club was just superb! August 03, 2010 Nottingham Stag Do "Firstly can I thank Crocodile for sorting out the whole weekend for me; I wanted to use you to take the hassle out of the planning and it certainly paid off!! Everything I asked for, you made happen and responded quickly and efficiently! (one area that I think you under advertise is the payment methods - ie all attendees can pay direct with the relevant link and details - I think this is a brilliant idea and really helped!) The events we booked were enjoyable and we had a warm greeting at each venue; the instructors were knowledgable and helpful and all the guys on the stag had a real laugh. We did encounter some issues at the hotel, as we were expecting 5 twin rooms, but were greeted with Double rooms with, what was then nicknamed, a prison bed as the 2nd bed. After complaining to the hotel this was rectified, but it did annoy me greatly as the organiser I felt responsible. The hotel told us we were not booked in could do with putting the booking in the name of the guests not crocodile events, reception staff not friendly and breakfast was ok. When arriving at comedy club we were told we had no food on our booking and if we wanted food to go and get some, i said no and spoke to crocodile to sort it out. It's A Knockout Hen Do "we had a great time, all games where supervised well, the only negative feedback i have is they had a break with only 2 games remaining it sort of got you out of the mood, they said is was for people who wanted a cigarette or the toilet. All my friends smoked and had plenty of time to have one and go to the toilet during the games. July 06, 2010 Bristol Stag Party "The only downside was yhat the staff on reception which included the manager waere at best an accident waiting to happen.The hotel could do with a really good clean but having said that the beds/bedding were clean,breakfast was great and the location was spot on so it really fulfilled all we needed.The activities that we booked through Crocodile were first class and enjoyed by all.The marking down on transport is only because the driver arrived about five minutes late and then proceeded to drive like a pensioner resulting in us arriving about fifteen minutes late for the start of our activities.But as i have said the best compliment we can pay is that we would all go again tommorrow.Thanks again for making my job as best man easier and giving our stag a weekend to remember." Shereen was excellent and made the whole thing really good fun. Our 90 minute cocktail making session lasted nearly 3 hours and was an absolute riot! The 2 Bens from were great fun and even let us paint their nails as part of one of the hens challenges for the day. They added us to the evening guest list so we were able to go back later for free. The jazz club was a real dissappointment. The food was okay, although the choices were slightly random, but the jazz consisted of 'Phil Good' on what seemed like an old yamaha keyboard, and not a jazz song in sight. Also, by 10.30 there was only us and one other hen do in the whole club, so we went back to Revolution. Hotel accommodation was great and the breakfast really good, far better than I was expecting. Many thanks for all your help, we had a fantastic day and the hen loved it! Not sure if you are allowed to make recommendations, but we went for afternoon tea at Malmaison (right next to Revolution). This was the first time our football team had been away together and we will be looking to do this again in the future. The rafting was cancelled and substituted for gorge scrambling which was brilliant fun. However, the rafting was scheduled for 10-4 and would have filled our day (and also included transport to the river) where as the scrambling was two hours long and we had to drive there ourselves. The nightclub was excellent and the doorman were very pleasant and quickly got us inside even though they were very busy. The laser tag was great fun and helped us all shake our hangovers. The overall service was excellent with no hiccups at all. Crocodile Events made life a lot easier for me when arranging it all for the group. Thanks for a great weekend. November 11, 2009 Manchester Hen Party Tapas & Cabaret "You couldn't have done anything better to help towards my Hen Weekend as everything you did was fantastic and top class service. The hotel was great, very central, good rooms, friendly staff, espcially the 2 guys on reception who got serenaded by a group of us returning at 4am singing songs from the sound of music ... why? None of us knew why we were singing those songs or what had started it (apart from the fact that we were all drunk!) but they took it in good humour and laughed with us! Sadly, the only downside is that whilst we were in the Birdcage we never received waiter service as stated on the ticket and about 5 members of the group had money stolen from their handbags leaving some with nothing for the rest of the night. This was reported to Bouncers and the Police but whether they will ever catch the people responsible we do not know. It did put a slight dampner on the night when it happened but this is nobody's fault apart from the thieves themselves. Though it should be pointed out to The Birdcage that we never received our waiter service which was a dissapointment. The Salsa Class was amazing. The Cuba Cafe was brilliant and perfect as we had it all to ourselves, I just wish I could have booked 2 hours instead of 1 as we were all really getting into it and then had to leave! The tapas meal at La Tasca was also excellent, everyone enjoyed their food and the staff were fantastic. She didnt know what she was in for until she turned up at the site and saw the two muddy vehicles sat there. She was dead excited, we all were as we hadnt done anything like it before. The two instructors were extremely friendly and explained everything really clearly and put us at ease straight away. The "training course" was brilliant fun especially when half of our group "temporarily lost forward momemtum" whilst nose deep in a puddle. Then it was out into the woods for the "real life experience". The hen had no problem driving head first into a bush to get round a bend, I managed to swipe a wing mirror whilst also failing to take a bend through some trees and the second vehicle had to be winched out of the mud whilst "temporarily losing forward momemtum" again for the second time in an hour. A great time was had by all, the hen was thoroughly delighted and we would highly recommend this activity to anyone. The faults are only slight niggles - as it was mostly very good. The only improvement I can think of to your service would be to send out an information pack by post, with an itinerary / information sheets to hand out to the other attendees. Although this wasn't necessary, as I had the info by email, it would give more a personal touch and would have given us something tangible to prepare us for the weekend. Another slight niggle was that I was told the equestrian centre was '8 or 9 miles' from Nottingham. It was actually 10.5 so cost more in taxis / petrol than expected. None of us could fault the hotel - facilities were perfect and staff were friendly. It would help if the Crowne Plaza web directions had told us to look for 'Wollaton Street car park' as this would have saved us time finding it. We had an obscured view at Jongleurs and would have liked a choice of meals - or would have liked to have been told in advance that there would be no choice. I would highly recommend this event to other large groups. The Private Karaoke was fun, a great selection of songs although the room was too hot and the drinks watery. Our private "booth" in the venue (Tiger Tiger) was a disappointment though as by the time we got back from the Karaoke it had been taken over by another group and was really far from the dance floor etc so none of the group were bothered about sitting there anyway. It was an unnecessary expense upon reflection. The hotel was basic but good access to the city centre. 3 guests per room was a bit of a squeeze and there were only 2 plug sockets and 1 mirror so getting ready was slightly stressful. Enjoyable making a game out of it - it's good for the group. A second go - 6 shots, (would be enough) would just round off the game and give people a chance. Edinburgh Hen Party - Spa Day With Lunch "Tina was fantastic - endeavouring to ensure we secured the desired venue for our event, the event was all organised by telephone and email, staff where always very friendly and helpful over the phone and information and reminders by email and text leading up to the day were great, especially providing an on call number (though we didn't need to use it!) We had a wonderful day at the Scotsman, spa, treatments and lunch. May 12, 2009 Reading Hens - Pamper, Races, Meal & Club "Hotel was fantastic completelty flawlesss from check in to check out!!!! outstanding. Races fantastic a better enclosure would of topped it off though, as we were not able to eat or view certain things... but atmosphere and view was great. The meal was efficient and portions lovely the staff were great but we would of enjoyed 3courses. The only dwnfall was th club which was far too dancy for us..... . I would like to stress this was the only down fall of the whole weekend. The spa was top notch as some of us even booked additional treatments. The food was lovely too.
